Installation Services


We will remove your old appliance provided it is disconnected and ready to remove at time of delivery, if a refrigeration appliance is being removed, please ensure that all food and large ice deposits are removed - if it is not ready and we need to come back at a later date this will incur an additional charge (normally the same as the original delivery charge).

Standard removal charges are for any appliance except refrigeration. Current charges are shown on the ordering page. For removal of Range cookers and large fridge freezers please call us to discuss.

Laundry and Dishwashing

Our connection charge includes disconnecting the old machine,connecting the new one using standard fittings, removing transit packaging if necessary, testing, a quick demonstration and removal of packaging. If any additional items are needed to complete the installation, they will be chargeable e.g. longer hoses, clips etc. The drivers will advise of the cost.

This service may not be possible if we find anything unexpected i.e. seized valves,faulty or unsafe sockets etc. in this event we will advise you that you need a plumber or electrician to carry out remedial work and we will of course refund any connection charges-this may result in an extra delivery charge if we need to come to you again at a later date to redeliver or remove.


We will unplug and plug in your new refrigeration appliance providing it is within reach of the cable supplied and does not involve cutting off plugs and feeding cable through cabinets etc. in short,we will happily do it if it’s quick and simple. 

Cookers and built in appliances

We can arrange installation of gas and electric cookers with trusted local specialists normally at time of delivery,please call us to discuss further.

Tumble dryers

Most tumble dryers now are condenser and don’t require anything other than a power supply.We don’t offer a service for installing through the wall ducting for vented models.

Please understand that if your floor is uneven or your adjacent cabinets are crooked we may not be able to level your new appliance perfectly, however we will do our best within reason and the limited time we have. 


Please advise us within 24 hours of any damage found .We will work with you to find the best solution;this may be an exchange or in some cases a damage allowance may be offered or if the damaged part can be easily changed we can arrange this so that you can then use the appliance immediately. It is very important that you notify us of any damage either by phone or email before you use the appliance-we will not exchange a damaged used appliance under any circumstances as we won’t be able to return it to the manufacturer.


This is something we really want to avoid. If you have the time we would prefer you to come to the shop and see what you are buying before you place your order. If this is not possible please do as much research as possible and please call us if you are unsure of anything-our staff have many years experience in helping customers find the right product.

If you find you have purchased the wrong product, please advise us by letter or email as soon as possible and return the goods to us at your expense within 14 days. Alternatively we can collect within 14 days, our collection charge is £30.

The goods must be in the original packaging,unused and complete with all accessories,any promotional goods,together with a copy of the original receipt. Items that are unboxed will incur an additional charge. 


Please contact us immediately if you think your new product is faulty,we will contact you and resolve the matter promptly.


When you purchase an appliance from QDA you will automatically be covered by the manufacturer’s standard guarantee. This guarantee usually covers 1 year parts and labour carried out on-site by the manufacturer’s own engineers or authorized service providers. Some manufacturers are now offering 2,3,4 or 5 year parts and labour or 5 year parts and 1 or 2 years labour - these details are shown on the product details page.

All appliances sold by QDA are for domestic use only.


QDA sells products in the UK and we do so in accordance with relevant laws-Sale of Goods Act, Sales and Supply of Goods Act, The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and so on. Please visit the governments website for more information.
